Job Summary
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge
Medical Terminology: Understanding of medical terms and procedures.
Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.

Primary Job Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals during patient examinations and procedures.
- Record patient information and vital signs.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens.
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare professionals.
