Job Summary
Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge
Medicine and Dentistry: Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive healthcare measures.
Psychology: Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
Biology: Knowledge of plant and animal organisms, their tissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment.
English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Primary Job Duties
- Conduct physical exams and patient assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
